Your account and service address
Update your name, phone, email, service address, reminders, and login details.
Everything about you rather than about your cans lives on the Account tab.
Your details
Name, phone, and email. Your operator sees these — the phone number is how they reach you if something goes wrong on a collection morning, so it's worth keeping current.
Service address
This is the house whose cans get rolled, and it decides which operators can serve you at all.
Search for the new address and pick it from the list. It appears on its own with Confirm your spot on the map underneath, and whether your operator still covers it below that — the same panel as the coverage lookup, so the pin works the same way. Clearing the box drops the whole thing and leaves your saved address as it was.
Moving out of coverage ends service. If your new address isn't covered by your current crew, say so before you move — they'll need to close out your subscription, and you can check the lookup for a crew at the new place.
What we send you
A grid: one row per kind of message, with an Email switch and a Notifications switch on each. Everything starts on.
| Row | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Bill reminders | When a bill is ready, and if one goes unpaid. |
| Service changes | When your operator moves or skips a pickup. |
The two switches on a row are independent, and that's the point — you can keep the notification and drop the email, or the reverse. Turning something off doesn't change what you owe, and your operator still sees the bill either way.
You don't have to remember where this grid is. Every email you're able to switch off ends with Change what we send you, which brings you straight back here.
Notifications on this device sits below the grid and means exactly that — the phone or computer you're reading this on, not your account. Turn them on again on a second device and you'll get them in both places.
Notifications only work from the app installed to your home screen — that's an Apple rule, not ours — so until you've installed it the notification switches are greyed out and say so rather than pretend. See installing the app.
Some things are always sent. Security emails about your login, and anything telling you what has happened to your service or your money — an approval, a receipt, a cancelled charge, an account being closed. Those aren't reminders, so there's nothing to turn off.
Language
Lil' Rollout is available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Simplified Chinese. The picker sits at the top of every page — a globe with the language you're reading now beside it (EN, ES, VI or 中文). Change it there and the whole app changes with it, including the pages you're not on.
Your choice is remembered in two places: this browser, and your account. That second one matters more than it sounds, because it's what the emails read.
Everything we send you follows it. Bill reminders, receipts, approvals, schedule changes, the notifications that pop up on your phone — all in your language, including the dates inside them. So do the account emails: confirming your address, resetting your password, the sign-in link.
Because it's saved to your account and not just this browser, signing in somewhere else brings your language with you.
Dates follow it too — on your dashboard, your pickups and your bills — so a Spanish page no longer says "Sep 3" in the middle of a Spanish sentence.
A message can arrive in English even so. If wording was changed recently, the translation may not have caught up yet — and we'd rather send you the current message in English than an out-of-date one in your own language. It catches up on its own, usually within a minute or two.
