Pickups and what the labels mean

Your upcoming and past pickups, with photo proof of each roll.

The Pickups tab lists what's coming and what's already happened, one row per can per date.

The pickups list, showing upcoming and past rolls

Upcoming and History

Upcoming is everything from today forward. History is everything before today, newest first. Each row names the can — Trash or Recycling — and the date.

The status labels

LabelWhat it means
ScheduledOn the list, not done yet.
At curbThe kid has rolled this can out to the street.
Brought inThe can has been brought back from the curb.
CompletedOut and back — the whole job is done.
SkippedThe pickup didn't happen. Usually a paused week or a missed collection day.

Once a can has been rolled you'll also see the times: Out when it went to the street and Back when it came home. Both are shown on your own clock, so a can rolled out at half seven in the morning reads half seven — if you check the app from another timezone, the times move with you.

When the schedule changes

Your operator can move, add or cancel pickups, and skip one on the day. When they do, you get one email the next morning listing everything that changed — not one per edit. Generating a schedule is a single click that can move a dozen dates, and a dozen emails is how people learn to ignore all of them.

If you've turned notifications on, that arrives on your phone too. A skipped pickup is the one worth catching in time: it means the cans aren't going out that night.

You can switch both off under What we send you in your account — this is a reminder, not a receipt, so it's yours to turn off. The Pickups tab always has the current list either way.

Photos

Operators can have the kid take a photo at each step. When they do, thumbnails appear on the row — one of the can at the street, one of it back in place. Tap one to see it full size.

No pickups listed at all? Either your subscription is still awaiting approval, or your operator hasn't generated dates for the weeks ahead yet.
