Becoming an operator
How a parent-run crew gets from the waitlist to a live business.
Operators aren't self-serve. A parent asks to run a crew, an admin provisions the business, and only then can neighbors subscribe to it. This keeps every business attached to a real adult before any money moves.
1. Ask to run a crew
Fill in the signup form and tick I'd like to run a crew. Tell us where you are — coverage is a neighborhood-sized thing, so the address matters more than anything else on the form.
2. We invite you
When we're opening up your area you'll get an invitation email with a setup link. That link is what creates your operator account; you can't create one yourself.
3. Set up and go live
The invite drops you into first-time setup: password, terms, and the four things a business needs before it can take a customer — coverage, services, a schedule, and payment details.
The account holder is the parent, not the kid. The kid gets roller mode on the parent's phone; they don't get a login.
What we expect of you
- An adult owns the account, the schedule, and the money.
- You only draw coverage you can actually walk.
- You approve or decline new subscribers rather than leaving them waiting.
